Strategic Leasing Advisor

About the Role:

The Strategic Leasing Advisor will support the lead broker:

  • Call assigned prospects and leads to qualify/disqualify prospects
  • Update Daylite database with call notes per contact
  • Provide lead broker with weekly activity report
  • Prospect for both landlord and tenant leads, convert leads to appointments & close for leasing assignments
  • Conduct a thorough needs analysis to ensure fiduciary service to all leasing clients
  • Show space to prospective tenant clients and prospects
  • Identify properties to show that meet tenants’ criteria
  • Write & submit all proposals to lease space for clients
  • Negotiate proposals and oversee entire negotiation process
  • Schedule and attend on-site property inspections with clients and vendors
  • Provide clients pricing information and market research
  • Regularly assure clients that the lead broker is involved & informed – Promote the team concept
  • Keep lead broker informed on all client communications and developments (copied on all emails & update notes in CRM)
  • Communicate diligently with team staff to ensure the highest level of service to clients from initial contact through contract to close
  • Regularly attend team meetings
  • Attend all office training for working with clients

Key Attributes For Success in the Role:

  • Positive energy exhibited continually throughout the day
  • Effective communications internally and externally, using in-person, phone and email skills
  • Experience in opening conversations, building rapport and identifying pains
  • Basic understanding of and exposure to commercial real estate leasing
  • Demonstrable sales skills, including prospect engagement, qualifying, managing expectations, negotiations, closing and unfailing follow-through
  • Ability to ask probing questions and to listen
  • Massachusetts Salesperson’s real estate license with 2+ years of demonstrable transaction history in leasing commercial real estate
  • Preferably, exposure to: Daylite and Excel.

Position Details:

  • Position is commission only
